Dr. J Jebasingh is a Medical Oncologist in Madurai, with over 18 years' experience in the medical profession. He currently holds the positions of Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at Madurai Medical College (since March 2008) and Consultant Medical Oncologist at Asirvatham Speciality Hospital in Madurai (since April 2011). He was earlier Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Madurai Medical College from May 2000 to June 2003 and June 2006 to March 2008, and also served as Consultant in Medical Oncology at Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre, Madurai, from September 2006 to October 2009.

Dr. Jebasingh has a string of impressive qualifications to his name, including an MBBS from CMC Vellore, an MD in Radiotherapy from Madurai Medical College, a DNB in General Medicine from Meenakshi Mission Hospital, and a DM in Medical Oncology from Madras Medical College, Chennai. All these institutions are affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. Dr. Jebasingh has also undergone training in bone marrow transplantation and paediatric and gynaecological oncology.

Dr. Jebasingh has worked on several clinical trials as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator, at Madurai Medical College and Asirvatham Speciality Hospital, Madurai. He regularly attends conferences, seminars and other events in India and overseas to keep updated on the latest developments in his field and interact with others in the profession. Dr. Jebasingh has made numerous presentations at oncology conferences, and delivered a large number of lectures at events of the Indian Medical Association and other bodies, including for medical professionals of specialisations other than oncology. Several of his research papers have been accepted for publication in reputed journals.
